Project Brief

Charis is an organic health and wellness brand inspired by the Greek Charites, goddess-like figures who bring gifts of love and goodness to humanity. The logomark brings them to life in the modern age, inspired by  Ancient Greek red-figure pottery. This project focuses on the packaging and marketing for their organic raw kombucha.

THE LOGO

The logo brings the Charites to life in the modern age, inspired by Ancient Greek red-figure pottery. The symmetry and bold design of the logo icon makes it strong on its own and when stacked with the typography. Charis uses a high-contrast serif typeface that blends well with the icon and stands out on the shelf.

I designed the packaging to be beautiful, clear, and calm; a reflection of the brand’s mission to create refreshing and healthy elixirs that heal from the inside out. Dynamic illustrations were made for each flavor using fine lines and soft shading to complement the strong and bold typography.

Photography was directed to capture the ethereal essence of the brand and highlight its organic commitment by placing the bottles in nature. They are the focal point of these environmental ads, paired with simple but bold text to catch your eye.
